A moving dance interpretation of J. Cole's "Be Free" - #blackhistorymonth​ #JCole​ #BeFree

 

    

The journey to the making of this film began with J. Cole’s 2014 song “Be Free”, which decries the systematic killing of black men and women in America. “The song itself is mainly about injustice and slavery, both still very present in the world today,” says Malik Mohammed, the choreographer behind this project. “I was immediately touched by its message.
