Fresh off the back of their standout remix of The Utopia Project from DJ Haus in The House, Mak & Pasteman land on DFTD for the first time with their blistering 'I Need U EP'. Despite it being new territory for the pair they have delivered a raw, uncompromising sound that stays true to their roots. Title track 'I Need U' is a slice of relentless 4/4, employing powerful vocal cuts and echoing synth hits reminiscent of Detroit legend Floorplan. 'Xperience' brings out the UK influence that has remained resonant throughout Mak & Pasteman's career, with heavy low-end bassline, analog synths and shuffling hi-hats to keep the track moving. It might be a debut release on DFTD for Mak & Pasteman but the story remains the same, 'I Need U EP' plays to all of the duo's production strengths and is a certified basement banger.

From Tokyo, Japan, B-Boy Issei has been making waves and winning high level solo competitions since he was age of 15 years old.
A member of FoundNation crew and a Red Bull BC One All-Star, Issei started breaking at the age of 6 years old after a friend took him to an event at a dance studio, at which he still uses for training today.
Even thought his parents wanted him to quit dancing when he reached secondary school, Issei continued to pursue a career as a B-Boy, and since has won a long list of titles all over the world. Amongst his many wins are, the 2016 Red Bull BC One World Finals Champion, the 2012 and 2013 R16 Solo B-boy winner, the 2013 IBE Super Solo Battle winner, and the 2015 Freestyle Session Japan winner.
Issei has a playful yet high energy, power moves based style, with which he always expresses the music in a way that make everything he does look effortless.
Issei loves that through his dance he is able to connect with new people from around the world, even when they don't speak the same language as him. It is through Breaking that he finds he can best express himself and claims that he is no genius and was not born with a strong physique but believes that practicing can make anyone the best B-Boy in the world!
