Transcending linguistic boundaries, he has proven worldwide commercial success with “La Bachata," a 21 week long stint on the Billboard Hot 100 and 31 weeks in the Spotify Top 50 (peaking at #3), continuing to win over listeners. It has accumulated over 969 million total streams, making it one of the most streamed tracks globally in the last year. It also peaked at #1 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart and held the top spot on the Tropical Airplay chart for 10 weeks.
The album also includes "Éxtasis," a romantic single that features "the girl from Argentina," María Becerra, and which has taken over Billboard's Latin Airplay chart, peaking at position #8. Fans can expect to hear Turizo's most recent song, "El Merengue," a special collaboration between the Latin phenomenon and Grammy-nominated artist and producer Marshmello. It’s a one-of-a-kind cross-genre track celebrating electronic music and merengue which pays homage to the merengue electrónico music from the early 2000s. This song exemplifies Turizo's "chameleon-like" ability to use his voice to create art.

About Manuel Turizo:
Born in Cordoba, Colombia, Manuel Turizo Zapata is the most successful young-urban music sensation in recent years. His musical career took off in 2018 after the release of the single "Culpables" (555 million views on YouTube). He has received 4X platinum, gold and diamond certifications from Sony Music, thanks to hits such as “Esperandote”, “Una lady como tu”, “Dejala que vuelva” and “Besame”. He has been nominated for several musical awards such as Latin American Music Awards (2018), Premios Juventud (2019), Premio Lo Nuestro (2020) and Premios Tu Música Urbano (2020), worth to mention in this last one Manuel Turizo stands out as one of the few non-Puerto Rican artists in the list of nominees.
