ETERNO is a conceptual album that takes fans on a nostalgic journey, reimagining classic pop hits. “I’ve always loved the classics — the songs that never go out of style and bring back powerful memories. With ETERNO, I wanted to honor those timeless tracks and give them new life in the rhythm of bachata, a genre that’s part of my soul. This album is a tribute to music that has stood the test of time, reimagined through my own style, voice and roots”, Royce expressed.

During the Premio Lo Nuestro awards broadcast this year, Royce also teased fans with a 3-song medley of his bachata rendition multi-generationally adored songs “My Girl”; his new single “How Deep Is Your Love”; and “Dancing in the Moonlight” - his bachata renditions of tracks originally released by The TemptationsBee Gees, and King Harvest. Becky G, Manuel Turizo - QUE HACES (Official Video)

With 2025 already shaping up to be a milestone year, international recording artist, songwriter, actress, entrepreneur, and activist Becky G keeps the momentum going with her first solo release of the year, unveiling her new song “QUE HACES” alongside Colombian superstar Manuel Turizo.

The Latin tropical track blends the driving rhythm of merengue and the brightness of Latin pop, infused with Becky’s bold style and elevated by Turizo’s smooth sound, creating the ultimate love song anthem. “QUE HACES” is available now through Kemosabe Records/Sony Music Latin/RCA Records on all digital streaming platforms.

Produced by Nup and Ciey, the track marks Becky’s highly anticipated return to the pop genre, nodding to the early days of her career. Rooted in the vibrant essence of Latin pop, the song features a rich blend of instruments including tambora dominicana, congas, güiro, piano, bass, and guitar that bring its playful spirit to life. Lyrics like “¿nos vemos o qué? ¿nos casamos o qué?” perfectly complement the track’s playful energy, adding a cheeky touch that amplifies its charm. The song also gives listeners a taste of what’s to come from Becky, as she leans into the sounds that first shaped her while embracing the richness of Latin pop with a fresh perspective, reaffirming her artistic versatility.

Directed by Joey & Joey and filmed in Miami, the music video is a heartfelt homage to love in all its forms, young, old, and everything in between. Set in an apartment complex, the visual tells three parallel stories: a teenage couple newly in love, an older couple reflecting years of deep connection, and Becky G alongside Manuel Turizo, representing a story currently unfolding. Through a series of tender, intimate moments, the video captures the beauty of love at every stage, from the innocence of first loves to the quiet admiration that grows with time.

I’ve been itching to get back to my pop urbano roots, but in a way that feels true to who I am today and incorporating everything I’ve experienced over the past few years. ‘QUE HACES’ is that song. Working on it with Manuel made it even more special. We had such a blast shooting the video and bringing this story of timeless love to life. I know fans are going to love it as much as we do,” Becky G said.

This single arrives in the midst of what is shaping up to be a standout year for Becky G. Further solidifying her cultural impact, the Harvard Foundation named Becky G its 2025 Artist of the Year during the 39th Annual Cultural Rhythms event, recognising her influence across music, film, and television; entrepreneurship and women’s empowerment; and her unwavering commitment to championing Latin voices and community engagement. She also dazzled at Billboard Women in Music, where she presented the Impact Award to South African sensation Tyla, an award Becky herself received just two years earlier, showcasing not only her trailblazing path, but her dedication to uplifting the next generation of talent.

Shortly after, the two surprised fans with a performance of their fan-favourite duet “On My Body” at Coachella. That same weekend, Becky took the stage with Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic for a stunning orchestral rendition of her global hit “Shower.” Recently, Becky announced that her upcoming film “Rebbeca” will premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on June 12. The documentary follows her journey through the creation of her debut Mexican regional album “ESQUINAS,” offering an intimate look at the roots that shaped her and the complexities of her personal and cultural history. As a multifaceted artist whose impact spans various realms of creativity, Becky G continues to solidify her place as one of the most influential voices of her generation.
