2019 saw the release of the legendary Murdock’s debut album on Viper, Stronger, packed full of upbeat, feel-good anthems, some of which have already amassed millions of streams – tracks like ‘Holding On’ feat. James Marvel and ‘Can’t Keep Me Down’ feat. Sena & Shystie. Not only has Murdock been smashing the streams; his album earned consistent support from major tastemakers like BBC Radio’s Dj Target and Annie Mac, Capital Xtras's Mistajam, UKF, Spotify, and more, not to mention huge support from peers and DJs around the globe.
Now, Viper Recordings are proud to present a very special deluxe edition of this seminal album, Stronger Deluxe. Featuring 6 brand new exclusives alongside some of 2020’s biggest remixes from AC13, Rene LaVice, Enei, Stronger Deluxe is the ultimate celebration of the Murdock moniker.
Label boss Futurebound takes on the anthemic “Make Me Stronger” featuring the one & only Jenna G, injecting his signature dancefloor energy into the beloved track with a thumping drop and electric beat that rivals the original. Bare Up delivers raw jump-up with his take on “Can’t Keep Me Down”, on the flipside, Alora delivers an elegant, enchanting take on “Breathe” that is sure to give you shivers.
Not only are there a plethora of remixes from new and established artists, but Murdock himself has even revisited a few favourites. “Lay Me Down” gets a sultry halftime edit featuring Sunday Rose on vocals, while “Different Way” with Errol Dunkley gets a festival ready VIP treatment. The radio friendly “Let It Go” gets a remix from Murdock and Doctrine as well, injecting it with rock n’ roll energy and a dark edge that completely transforms the record.
While remixing such legendary tracks is no easy feat, this deluxe edition is the ultimate tribute to the legend that is Murdock, featuring a wide array of different sounds and moods from some of the most creative names in the game. Each track stands out for different reasons, bringing together a diverse selection of artists from across the drum & bass spectrum for a truly special release.

The year is 2001. A young, ambitious, and passionate man found his love for music to be so strong he just had to share it with the world. The airwaves called out to him as a means to an end, and the A State Of Trance radio show was born shortly thereafter. It’s easy to say so in hindsight, but who could have predicted that this man’s dream would inspire so many people across the globe?
Fast-forward twenty years and there’s so much to look back on. From the annual mix albums and the huge events in all parts of the world to the scene-leading label spinoff and of course, all weekly episodes of the radio show itself, A State Of Trance has been and still is a haven for music lovers from all over the world, transcending cultural differences through impeccable two-hour selections of only the best in Trance and Progressive. Making it to one-thousand episodes is no longer a distant thought as this monumental milestone is finally upon us. And what better way to spearhead the celebrations of this incredible journey than by launching the official anthem for ASOT 1000: ‘Turn The World Into A Dancefloor’.
With a nod of acknowledgment to the previous ASOT anthems, Armin van Buuren’s official hymn for ASOT 1000 echoes the all-encompassing message that has been at the heart of A State Of Trance from the off. From the mesmerizing piano tones in the heart-stirring breakdown to the gated synths and melodies that radiate nothing but pure and uplifting emotion, this record does exactly what Armin van Buuren has envisioned since that momentous day in 2001: to ‘Turn The World Into A Dancefloor’.
