In November, Belgian artist Charlotte de Witte was described as a 'force of nature' when she graced our cover for the first time and it's easy to see why. Over the last few years, the techno DJ and producer has gone from strength-to-strength, playing all over the globe at the world's biggest clubs and largest festivals. To put it simply, she's become one of the most popular artists on the planet.
Her unapologetic, visceral approach to techno has won her fans all over the world and last year she launched her label, KNTXT, which she dropped two EPs via alongside a release from Chris Liebing.
Ten years after they were designated as endangered, nothing of significance has been done to protect polar bears. So, in simplest, starkest terms, more bears are starving to death as climate change steadily reduces the ice pack where the bears catch their staple food, seals. The good news is that there is still time to turn things around by making daily choices that matter. And, there are dedicated, passionate scientists, conservationists and volunteers in groups like Polar Bears International who can inspire us by their examples to make the right choices.
