In mid-July, the world’s craziest downhill mountain bikers gathered together to jump one of the most unreasonable lines of 2019. The Belgian downhill king, Nico Vink, is the host of the event. He also constructed and developed the whole line and this year, promising that it would be even more insane.

The line he built in the Belgian bike park “Ferme Libert” is one of the biggest jump lines ever ridden on a mountain bike. Just to make it through the jumps, it takes the skills and determination of the best in the world.

Imagine the gap portion of the X Games Big Air ramp, but on a mountain bike, surrounded by some of the world’s best mountain bike riders in the world. Now give it a name like “Loosefest 19” and you’ve got one of the craziest mountain bike celebrations in the world.

Don’t clip in, but do sit back and watch some of the most massive tabletops, toboggans and supermans known to man. Things are about to get loose!

RIPPLE present their latest self released EP BASSLINE RESURRECT as a followup to their FALLING SKY EP released earlier in the summer. Quickly making a name for themselves on the basis of their fast paced output, BASSLINE RESURRECT continues in this trend with a pair of solo tracks and a pair of collaborative works between RIPPLE and fellow Czech drum & bass act FURIOUS FREAKS.

RIPPLE open the EP with the titular BASSLINE RESURRECT, which features the sharp vocals of MC KENNA in pairing with a rapid percussive rhythm that surges forth at a breakneck pace. SPIRIT’s chanting call comes as the first of the EP’s two collaborative tracks between RIPPLE & FURIOUS FREAKS as it merges a set of expansive atmospheres with the sharp edged flurry of its percussion. HI then follows as the second solo track from RIPPLE, and is marked by a warped vocal topline that jumps between the track’s percussive impacts with hyperactive agility. Closing the EP is the second collaborative track between RIPPLE & FURIOUS FREAKS, TIME, which brings a boisterous bassline to bear in place of it's partner SPIRIT’s subtlety.

With BASSLINE RESURRECT, RIPPLE display their homegrown sonic character alongside FURIOUS FREAKS across four tracks that draw on their wide ranging influences, resulting in an EP that presents the full scope of both project’s sounds in a concise and unified work.

marks a milestone for LOCKED CONCEPT’s catalogue. The label unveils LOCKJAW’s new collection of sonic works, his UNCONSCIOUS EP to put a stamp on the label’s catalogue. The label boss himself drops four, brand-new auditory sculptures in his most significant release since his album, HUMAN RESEARCH.

AUTOMATON opens the EP with cold and spacious textures that give way to a militant backbeat that’s as hard as it is unforgiving. OPTICS provides a familiar, musically-tinged introduction which soon gives way to manic and precise basslines that fizz and pulsate as they masterfully develop. INFERENCE then brings the EP back to a more vintage sound with rolling drums, rave sensibilities and and unrelentingly dark basslines. The title track, UNCONSCIOUS, closes the EP with paranoid pads, twisted synths and thumping drums which carry an esoteric level of funk.

With LCKD020, LOCKJAW presents his vision for a more stripped back and clinical-sounding release on LOCKED CONCEPT that is sure to rattle teeth on dancefloors world-wide.
