Holyoke , Ma quickly becoming ground zero for a swift renaissance that is beginning to encapsulate Race St. and the buildings surrounding the Holyoke Canals. Innovative new developers and educational programs are setting a new tone on Race St. The recent grand opening of the "Gandara Youth Development Center and personalized education at Lighthouse Holyoke. Brothers Denis and Marco Luzuriaga are transforming the former Cubit Wire & Cable Co. Inc. building at Appleton and Race streets into upstairs lofts and the new home of the Holyoke Community College Culinary and Hospitality Center of Excellence. Today mayor Alex Morse announcing another 7 million dollar project at 84 Sargeant St. where Parsons Paper company once thrived. This revamp will create 30 more jobs and is a milestone for the city of Holyokes innovative future.
Residential and educational growth equals new exciting nightlife! Over the past few years several event promoters have focused new attention on the Paper City. Most recently Made Productions hosting The 2nd Annual Jungle Massive at Gateway City Arts.
Various art from various artists hang in and around the large venue on a regular basis. Three large rooms provide tremendous square footage for any large event, including and outdoor courtyard for people who like to vibe outside.

It is great to see so many entertainers f rom out of town converge on a street where so much growth is happening. Nightlife events / live music / artists and entertainers coming together generates revenue for a city capable of returning to greatness. By 1900, Holyoke had more millionaires per capita than any other city in America and was richer yet in architectural gems and fine cultural institutions. Affordable business will lay the foundation for a budding renaissance within the city. expect more entertainment/ music festivals / art festivals and more as the city expands welcoming new friends and business family to the community.
