Almost 6 weeks into the new year, and we’ve had a minute to kick it, get a little grounded, & start charging up. What a year it was .. well, 2 years really. With the dopest band, most amazing crew, and the absolute tippy-toppiest most incredible community & fans & collaborators -- WOW blushing w gratitude When I first called the new vehicle of Pretty Lights Live shows the “Soundship Spacesystem” & the “Swirl Bridge” it didn’t make a lot of obvious sense, but that’s why I loved it. Swirly terms that take a minute to decipher are the best (:more coming:) The vocal sample in the middle of this video, that was dropped just before midnight on NYE, does a great job of expressing some of the original intention. space = consciousness. Through an understanding of consciousness we can perpetuate the positive patterns we seek. The idea is that when we create this music live in the way that we do, (on stage & off stage) we glimpse that truth. As we aim to create a feeling of expansion and spaciousness through harmony of energy/mind/spirit - the mind & the heart overlap .. it really feels so good… When done with love & gratitude, intention & compassion, bidirectionally, & with some certified ill type moves...it’s like a building a bridge 🌉 Like a way to peak behind the cosmic curtain.. together We got it swirled many a time this last couple years lights been shone. vectors been checked. or at the very least inspected & reflected on. so cheers 🥂 The blossom is all of us, bursting with potential, so much beauty to create & talent to offer. It feels nebulous until the possibilities are seen.. and manifested. We clear a little fog, one connection, one swirl at a time. I hope this doesn’t sound too cheesy, I’m laughing while I write so I know it’s a vibe. I was saying on NYE - we’ve been on the launch pad the whole time. Preparing, conjuring, releasing, learning. That’s my way of saying there’s so much more.
