CA7RIEL & PACO AMOROSO RELEASE NEW EP PAPOTA

 



Last week, CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso surprised fans with something they had been eagerly waiting for. With the release of PAPOTA’s first part, the duo brought their viral Tiny Desk session versions to streaming platforms.But they didn’t just want to capture that milestone—they kept the momentum going. Now in their second year of an international tour, the duo has continued working in the studio, and PAPOTA brings together four brand-new tracks that take their organic sound even further. The EP captures the whirlwind of success following their Tiny Deskperformance, which propelled them to the forefront of the music industry.





The first glimpse of PAPOTA came with #TETAS, one of the EP’s four new tracks, whose music video is part of the duo’s signature high-production audiovisual storytelling. Each new track has its own chapter in this short film, creatively directed by Terrivle Studios and produced by Rebolución. To bring the PAPOTA universe to life, CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso teamed up with two of Argentina’s biggest comedy figures: Martín Piroyansky, who directed the project, and Martín Bossi, who plays Gymbaland, a quirky guru who claims to have the secret formula to their success.

The EP kicks off with IMPOSTOR, a track that opens with a Latin jazz-style piano intro, layering in soulful elements and female backing vocals in line with their evolving sound. The song sees the duo reflecting on the buzz surrounding their Tiny Desk session and grappling with imposter syndrome. RE FORRO, a jazz-hop-infused track, dives into the impact of fame on their personal lives, setting the stage for a heartfelt back-and-forth that ultimately resolves in the explosive pop anthem DÍA DEL AMIGO. Once again, CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso showcase their mastery—backed by top-tier producers Rafa Arcaute and Fede Vindver—in breaking down musical boundaries and pushing the sonic landscape forward.




With PAPOTA, CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso crank up their signature formula with a dose of steroids—an audacious and effective blend that always hits the mark. The EP delivers top-tier band textures, razor-sharp songwriting, and lyrics that capture the essence of today, using humour as a vehicle for their uncomfortable truths.

Fans will get to experience this new EP live during their 2025 tour, with performances at major festivals like Lollapalooza (Brazil, Argentina, Germany, and France), Roskilde, Coachella, and Fuji Rock.
