Sky Rompiendo & Rauw Alejandro – Espectacular (Official Video)

London, UK - Friday 19 April 2024 – Today, 7-time, Latin Grammy award-winning artist and producer Sky Rompiendo announces new single “Espectacular (feat. Rauw Alejandro)” which is available to stream via Sony Music Latin!

With “Espectacular,” Sky showcases his versatility as a producer, creating a beat that enables Rauw to showcase his signature electronic melodic sound. The duo has previously collaborated on Rauw’s breakthrough album, Afrodisíaco, in 2020. At the time, they teamed up together along with Myke Towers to unveil the dynamic collaboration for “Ponte Pa’ Mi.”

“Espectacular” marks Sky’s first single release of 2024 and comes after he released dynamic singles in 2023, including “Crush (feat Arcangel & Dei V),” and the smash single “El Cielo (feat Myke Towers & Feid).” Sky performed the latter at the 2023 Billboard Latin Music Awards.

Most recently, Sky produced Chenco Corleone’s new song “HUMO (feat. Peso Pluma)” that received widespread acclaim since its release earlier this month. In recent months, he has worked with the likes of Ozuna and Blessd, producing songs for their respective albums.

Sky established himself as one of the premier producers in the world, having crafted global anthems for Latin superstars such as Bad Bunny, J. Balvin, Karol G, Rosalia, Anitta, Feid, Nicky Jam, as well as dynamic crossover collaborations with those artists alongside U.S. powerhouses like The Weeknd, Pharrell and Travis Scott.

Given his accolades, Sky has been nominated for Producer of the Year at the Billboard Latin Music Awards three times – 2015, 2017 and 2021.

From hip hop’s inception, female rappers have long felt the pressure to sexualize themselves to

sell records but not J Noa. She opens “Cenicienta” proudly reaffirming that she doesn’t

show off her assets to get attention and encourages other female artists to sharpen their craft

and pen their own songs rather than use their bodies to sell their music.

The visuals were directed by her collaborator, Lennyn Salinas, and take us on a journey

through her neighborhood in San Cristóbal, DR, where we see the rapper trying to make the

shoe fit both as Prince Charming and Cinderella while disrupting an industry where monotony

seems to dominate.
