The Kickstarter was funded 200% in less than 24 hours and by the close of the campaign, FinalStraw raised $1.89 million. The momentum hasn’t stopped. Since launching, FinalStraw has prevented approximately 250 million single-use straws from entering the environment.
But even if all the plastic straws in the world were to disappear overnight, we would still have a major plastic pollution problem.
