Back on Earth, a dull hum rung in my ears. A low siren call. Radiating towards me. When I closed my eyes it was all I could see. It was always there. The sun comes and goes, but it never left. I got onto the roof just to be closer. I'd stand on tip toes just to be closer. And in the warm, sweet smelling glow I'd reach up towards it just to be closer.
