Leicester based ALB drops his biggest body of work to date on the Ram Records platform, after signing with the label at the end of 2019. The package contains six massive selections from the producer, nodding to the more stripped back, musical segment of Ram’s catalogue.
From the lush tones of ‘By My Side’, ‘Closer’ and ‘Evolver’, continued by the darker bass undercurrents of ‘IGHR’ and rolling rhythms of both ‘Said Some Things’ and ‘Vintage’, there’s a taste to suit every palette. Sevillian producers Picota & Kumbh are about to make an appearance on Program for another release. Having spent the past five years slowly growing their arsenal of music they graduated onto the Program moniker through their single ‘Sacrifice / The Mummy’ and continue to be part of the label’s expansion with their forthcoming output.
The two fresh selections presented by Picota & Kumbh, ‘Déjà Vu’ and ‘Bass Flow’, provide another glimpse into their vast, complicated manufacturing. ‘Déjà Vu’ opens with an encompassing mesh of production, which leads into tidal like breaks, whilst ‘Bass Flow’ ebbs between its levels of throbbing bass alongside jaz-inspired instrumentals. So once again it’s time to get with the Program… One which leads the charge for artists breaking the norms of drum & bass production.

collection as we head forward into the unknown. Keeping our eyes focused
