UNITE with Tomorrowland Barcelona es un evento híbrido que combina la conexión vía satélite del mainstage de Tomorrowland con la actuación en directo de los DJs más prestigiosos en el escenario de Barcelona.
A partir de las 15h un imponente line up abrirá el festival barcelonés. A las 21h horas, UNITE with Tomorrowland conectará con el main stage belga compartiendo las tres actuaciones estelares a través de pantallas gigantes con el resto de sus UNITEs (Abu Dabi, España, Italia, Líbano, Malta, México y Taiwán). Este festival no sólo es música electrónica. Es la unión de miles de personas de diferentes puntos del planeta rodeados de un espacio de fantasía, buen ambiente y en un entorno natural único, dispuestos a disfrutar de una experiencia única: Tomorrowland.
Y a partir de la medianoche los DJs internacionales aterrizan con sus jets privados para actuar en directo a UNITE with Tomorrowland Barcelona. El line up del main stage es uno de los secretos mejor guardados en Tomorrowland como también los nombres de los DJs que participarán en vivo en Barcelona. El festival UNITE with Tomorrowland llega con un espectacular escenario, acompañado de una gran cantidad de elementos decorativos inspirados en cuentos de hadas, elementos mágicos y los más increíbles efectos especiales, tales como fuegos artificiales, láser show y confeti. Se ofrecen todos los ingredientes necesarios para garantizar una experiencia única - hadas y personajes inspirados en el mundo de la fantasía, además de animaciones en directo- que identifican el sello Tomorrowland con la atmósfera tan característica del festival.

Logistics - Broken Light (feat. Thomas Oliver) [Official Video]

Logistics, one of Hospital Records’ most prolific artists, is back with his seventh studio album ‘Hologram’. Inspired by his travels to Hong-Kong and New Zealand, this universally admired drum & bass figure presents a vibrant 16-track collection soaked in his signature groove, soul and liquid-funk stylings.
Opening track ‘Lotus Flower’ sets a warm springtime tone with fluttering harp-like arpeggios and atmospheric pads. ‘Broken Light’ follows on from the success that singer/songwriter Thomas Oliver brought on Logistics’ collaborative LP with brother Nu:Tone. A sombre tone matched with melancholic lyrics bring a blissful beat to the album.
Keeping true to the craft, ‘Chant’ flips to Logistics’ jungle style with molten-hot flair. A powerful punch of expertly sliced breaks and vocal stabs are the ingredients for this dancefloor weapon.
It’s safe to say that this has been worth the wait. Although titled from the ever-growing illusion of the digital-age, ‘Hologram’ is an example of Logistics’ very real talent and is a welcomed addition to his impressive repertoire of drum & bass classics. Quantity, quality and a fierce musical character is everything we have come to expect from this Hospital staple.

20 YEARS OF ULTRA — EPISODE 5: A GLOBAL PHENOMENON
Due to its unique timing at the very beginning of festival season, Ultra Music Festival has always been the place where the top artists in electronic music debut all of their newest songs. Musical performances are prepared all winter in the studio, then perfected for their debut at Ultra Music Festival. Often, artists use these performances as their standard sets for the rest of the year.
Due to the historical significance of the Winter Music Conference, it is also the first time each year that a huge number of DJs gather in one place, with Miami Music Week as the backdrop. Artists from the mainstream and the underground alike are able to see each other’s best performances and be inspired to improve their own. In this way, the progression of musical development is able to stay authentic year after year.
Over the last 20 years and especially recently, this has begun an arms race of sorts to see who can put on the best performances. Artists use their full spectrum of creativity to try to introduce groundbreaking elements into their shows. From new music, to special guests, to immersive audiovisual experiences, Ultra Music Festival has become the place for an artist to pull out all the stops in order to make their ambitions become reality. The biggest challenge for both the festival and the artists has become how to top the previous year’s performance every single time.
For 20 years, unforgettable moments have arisen across a variety of Ultra Music Festival’s stages. What started in Miami has expanded to dozens of countries across 6 continents, with over a million yearly attendees. Only time will tell what incredible moments will arise in the NEXT 20 years…
