LOCKED CONCEPT has laid down a consistently exploratory path of releases, with their dedication to uncovering new artists and ideas without compromise showing through on every release. With their 14th release, the boutique label unveils a new talent in the form of Melbourne-based newcomer TIDE with a sleek pair of forward-thinking tracks for the thinking dancefloor in the form of CLAPPER and FEVER. With it's halfstep-dnb hybrid attitude Clapper does what it says on the tin, leading a relentless clap-led assault with a weighty bassline that strains to burst from the sub bubbles that it lays down. FEVER charges with nightmare ferocity into a restless world of feverish frantic energy, catapulting listeners into a bleak and intense landscape.

The label's first release of 2018 welcomes a newcomer to the scene: @tidesound hailing from Melbourne, Australia. In promotion of his 2-track EP out on February 22nd, TIDE has gifted us with a deep, dark and techy mix to showcase his infectious sound.

Dov1 & An-ten-nae team up with Grammy Award winning song writer King Mas for his soulful lyrics and epic melodic vocals.
Their low end bass and fusion of Roots Reggae and Halftime Drum & Bass lead to a unique sound that is guaranteed to get a response.
The Dub Mix takes the tune even deeper into HalftimeDNB and possibly even a ‘Post-Dubstep’ direction, giving space for deep bass to move under the unique percussion, catchy horns and an epic uplifting synth melody.

An-ten-nae is a constant production machine, who has created new avenues for bass music under his various monikers, including Dimond Saints, Invisible People, Lowriderz and Black Crow.
Both of these artists have pushed the bass music scene over the years with diverse events, productions and mentoring roles for younger artists.

From Tokyo, Japan, B-Boy Issei has been making waves and winning high level solo competitions since he was age of 15 years old.

A member of FoundNation crew and a Red Bull BC One All-Star, Issei started breaking at the age of 6 years old after a friend took him to an event at a dance studio, at which he still uses for training today.

Even thought his parents wanted him to quit dancing when he reached secondary school, Issei continued to pursue a career as a B-Boy, and since has won a long list of titles all over the world. Amongst his many wins are, the 2016 Red Bull BC One World Finals Champion, the 2012 and 2013 R16 Solo B-boy winner, the 2013 IBE Super Solo Battle winner, and the 2015 Freestyle Session Japan winner.

Issei has a playful yet high energy, power moves based style, with which he always expresses the music in a way that make everything he does look effortless.

Issei loves that through his dance he is able to connect with new people from around the world, even when they don't speak the same language as him. It is through Breaking that he finds he can best express himself and claims that he is no genius and was not born with a strong physique but believes that practicing can make anyone the best B-Boy in the world!
