Berlin-based duo Booka Shade have carved out a reputation as one of the most celebrated electronic acts to come out of Europe over the past two decades. With their beginnings in Frankfurt and their sights originally on synth-pop, the duo Booka Shade quickly gained a strong following. In 2002 Booka Shade formed the now legendary dance label Get Physical Music (together with M.A.N.D.Y., Thomas ‘DJ T.’ Koch and Peter Hayo), where they would have a platform for their own music.

EXIT Festival in 2017 will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Summer of Love. Next year, EXIT will mark some of the most important events from 1967 when the revolutionary Peace Movement began and changed the world forever. Celebrating the Summer of Love, EXIT presents 4 festivals in 4 different countries in the region!

Starting things off for the EXIT Summer of Love 2017 is Sea Star, a new festival in Umag held from 26-27 May at the Stella Maris resort! First announced acts include the most popular global bands - The Prodigy, with the local favorites Dubioza kolektiv and Croatian hosts Urban&4. But that's not all – the event kicks of on the 25th of May with a warm-up party and festivalgoers will also have an afterparty on the 28th of May to close this chapter of EXIT Summer of Love.

The next chapter in the EXIT’s Summer of Love 2017 is the Revolution Festival that takes place on 2 and 3 June in the charming Romanian town of Timisoara. This event was nominated by the European Festival Awards 2016 in two categories, for the Best New Festival and Best Small Festival!
Finally, EXIT Summer of Love 2017 presents EXIT Adventure, two festivals, at two spectacular locations, a one-of-a-kind summer festival experience!

Australian producer and dj LOCKJAW unveils a special retrospective for the tenth release of his boutique label LOCKED CONCEPT, with the pair of tracks that opened the imprint from the man himself getting remixed alongside revisions of tracks from key label artists CREMATORIUM, TELLUS and THE SNEAK. Crematorium's lush futurescape 'Those Misty Trees' (which saw BBC airtime at the hands of Friction) gets the attention of Lockjaw, who steps up the energy with an insistent strain of tech-fuelled percussion whilst retaining the verdant pads and burial-esque vocal of the original. The remaining remixes express Locked Concept's diverse nature, with Tellus sculpting Lockjaw's track 'Letting Go' into a nocturnal form of laid-back decadent halfstep that bathes the ears in warm sub. The Sneak goes in on another Lockjaw track, elevating 'With You' into a smooth breed of liquid that steps up the energy with classic style. Finally Crematorium goes full on into stripped future garage, with delicate beats riding on a tightly filtered tidal reese and sublime vocal ellements.

Locked Concept celebrates getting 10 releases deep into their unique and diverse journey with a carefully packaged set of remixes that appropriately reimagines some of the label's prime content from a diverse and lush approach for those who love it deep.

Starting off in a heavy weight reggae vibe, Dub FX runs through a variety of vocal twists and styles, name checking all his original influencers, but don't get too comfortable cos the amen fused Jungle skank finishes off Listening in style.
