Maxim just keeps churning out the quality releases this year, as he returns for his next release on Death Drum Rebel, with long-time collaborator Cianna Blaze. 'Baddest Breed' is yet more of Maxim's signature Drum & Bass sound but this time he has enlisted A-list remixer, Viper Recordings very own, Insideinfo.
Cianna Blaze has been working with Maxim for a while now, and the results are always top-notch. No change here on 'Baddest Breed', in fact, she is in rare form and spits with venom and passion over Maxim's rolling beats, bass and hunting synths.
Insideinfo then turns in an epic and Neurofunk flavoured reworking of the original that utilises Cianna's outstanding vocal perfectly. This is one for any discerning dancefloor warrior.
Maxim, Death Drum Rebel & Cianna Blaze are all on top form with this release. Add to that a gargantuan remix from one of the scenes biggest hitter in the form of Insideinfo and you have a very special release! // MAXIM ONLINE // https://www.facebook.com/MaximDJofficial/ https://www.instagram.com/maxim/
In late 2009 a successful campaign was launched by Jon Morter and his then wife Tracy to promote an alternative to the omnipresent X-Factor winner being the Christmas #1 in the UK singles chart. The track they nominated as the alternative was “Killing In The Name” by Rage Against The Machine. The band supported the campaign, donated the proceeds from the sales to charity and lead singer Zack de la Rocha promised that Rage Against The Machine would perform a free concert in the UK to celebrate the achievement. This went ahead in London’s Finsbury Park on 6th June 2010 and is captured on this film. It is an exuberant performance by the band with the audience cheering them all the way to the inevitable climax of “Killing In The Name”. It seems current events have many speculating what the future holds. An entitled self serving society emerges. A society where the car you drive is ultimately more important than taking care of your body in some instances. The truth of the matter is not everyone is responsible for their health conditions. Victims of combat are returning home mangled and in need of tremendous care. Babies are born needing several surgeries, assistance breathing. People are struck by vehicles, fall off horses etc, etc, etc... The circumstances vary. People need affordable health care period.

WOW! A profound look at life, in 4 minutes. You have to watch this -- and share it. We literally welled up with tears -- very rarely does that happen.
The camera wanders and shows the inner lives of people around us as they do their daily tasks. Most of it is set in a hospital, where there is so much worry, sadness, some joy, bad news, good news, no news, anxiety, fear -- as in real life, but perhaps magnified.
We've all BEEN there - experienced at least one of these people's lives. Hence, the tears! It's so TRUE.
This short video is at once quiet, profound, powerful, true, simple -- and so supremely human. It was produced by the Cleveland Clinic, as an example of their regard for empathy.
It's a profound reminder: we ALL have our story. Others have theirs. We NEVER know. And to treat others with the benefit of the doubt, with courtesy, with compassion, with respect.

The video was first presented by Dr. Toby Cosgrove, CEO of the Cleveland Clinic, with the staff during his 2012 State of the Clinic address a few weeks back, on Feb. 27, 2013, and since posted on the clinic's website.
