We took some time off the road to get back on the road, but in a different way. Say It Loud is an album that took me all around the United States recording sounds from funk jam sessions to children's choirs, trumpet solos in the forests of Michigan to saxophone lines in the boiler room of my house in Colorado. This album represents the sounds of so many different cities and people, all while keeping the funk alive…from us for you.
I wanna thank everyone who played with me, and most specifically Josh Hanford for traveling and documenting this adventure with me - i'm sure it won't be the last. Lindsey thank you for the editing smile emoticon
