Dirtybird loves funky ghetto tracks it’s like our kryptonite. “Get Dat” from Gettoblaster and DJ Funk is a prime example why. The Chicago natives are skilled in turning just a few drums and some vocal bits into infectious jams that move every bone in your body. The pair of artists have been playing warehouse parties and touring together since the 90’s, before reuniting at Dirtybird Campout West Coast 2017. They rekindled the connection, met in the studio, Funk recorded a bunch of vocal tracks, Gettoblaster banged out the drums, and “Get Dat” was born.
