Rene LaVice Releases Remix of Jareth's 'Rings of Saturn'

Following René  Lavice’s seminal ‘Far From Perfect’ LP released through Ram Records / BMGearlier this year, he returns alongside album collaborator Jareth for her forthcoming remix package. And after revealing that she’ll be bringing on board a host of artists to have their take on her ‘Moonchild’ EP, a release which helped push her to critical acclaim across both press and radio, René LaVice makes a welcome addition to a heavyweight track listing. Having already defined herself within dance music featuring beside the likes of Ultra Record’s Chris Lake, as well as the release of Hybrid Minds’ rework of her record ‘Kaleidoscope’, she’s crossed over many genre constraints.  Her support on radio tastemakers BBC 1xtraKiss FM and BBC Radio 1 comes as little surprise – whether you consider her past collaboration with grime artist Ghetts, or worldwide fashion designer Roberto CavalliJareth is the true essence of artist.

René LaVice has also had his own show stopping moments this year. As well as securing hisRadio 1 residency for their drum & bass show, he’s played sets at some of this year’s major events, such as NassLet it Roll and Arcadia in London. His take on Jareth’s ‘Rings of Saturn’record twists the original on its head, whilst injecting the same energy he orchestrates throughout his live sets. René’s heavyweight bass credentials and crunching snares juxtapose Jareth’sstunning vocal highs for an ultimate dancefloor cut. It presents the perfect addition to Jareth’s EP, as well as a back catalogue of remixes which have pushed René’s name throughout the wider music circuit. With his octane style blending amongst Jareth’s emotive signature, they offer a rework which platforms the stellar attributes of both artists within their respective musical fields.
